New Tools in Nocode Landscape

  1. Activepieces

    ActivePieces is a no-code AI-first automation platform that enables users to connect and automate workflows between various apps and services effortlessly. You can self-host it and it is open source, which makes it a good choice for customers, which are in a regulated industry or have specific requirements.

  2. Kestra

    Kestra is an open-source orchestration platform designed to automate and manage complex workflows across various data sources and systems. It allows users to create, schedule, and monitor data-driven tasks seamlessly, enhancing productivity and operational efficiency.

  3. Teable

    Teable is the super fast fusion of the popular database Postgres and Airtable. It is similar to Airtable a collaborative tool that streamlines the process of creating, sharing, and managing interactive tables and data visualizations. It enables teams to organize information efficiently and collaborate in real-time, enhancing data accessibility and communication.

No-Code Freelancer Checklist

So here we are.

You would like to become a No-Code Freelancer or maybe you are still working as a No-Code Freelancer then often it is a good idea to sometimes step a little back and zoom out to see the whole picture.

This is why I created this Checklist, which acts as a list with single points to cross out, but as well as a introduction to the whole topic “becoming a No-Code freelancer“

Checklist: Becoming a No-Code Freelancer

1. Establish the Fundamentals

  • Understand what No-Code is: Research and learn the basics of No-Code platforms.

  • Build expertise in No-Code tools: Start with popular tools like Webflow, Airtable, Bubble, Zapier, or Adalo.

  • Choose your specialization: Focus on a specific No-Code tool or niche (e.g., web development, automation, app development).

2. Build a Portfolio

  • Practice with real projects: Create your own projects to add to your portfolio.

  • Showcase successful projects: Document and present projects to demonstrate your skills.

  • Demonstrate customer-centric solutions: Highlight how you solve problems and deliver value to clients.

3. Conduct Market Research

  • Identify your target clients: Who needs your No-Code services? Small businesses, startups, agencies?

  • Understand your market’s needs: Analyze the challenges and requirements of potential clients.

  • Study your competition: Look at what other No-Code freelancers offer and how you can stand out.

  • Create branding: Develop a professional logo, website, and branding materials.

    Airtable is a mixture between Spreadsheet and Database.
